Before skincare, there was ballet. I spent a decade dancing professionally with a Seattle ballet company—a life of discipline, artistry, and pushing my body to its limits. Then injuries made that push impossible. I retired from the stage at 30, and for the first time in my adult life I had to ask what came next.

My path to skincare was born out of necessity, not vanity. I fought stubborn acne all through my teenage years, and just when I thought I’d left it behind, hormonal acne showed up again in my late twenties and thirties. I know exactly how much your skin can affect the way you carry yourself—how a single breakout can quietly change how you show up in a room. That experience is the reason AfterGlow exists.

So I became a licensed esthetician and set out to build the kind of practice I wish I’d found sooner: results-based, integrative, and grounded in scientifically studied non-toxic ingredients. These aren’t standard fluff facials. My goal is to optimize how your skin actually functions—not just make it look good for an afternoon.

That starts with your barrier. A healthy, resilient skin barrier is the foundation for everything else, so I strengthen it first. Once your skin is strong enough to handle more, I introduce targeted active ingredients along with hydrating and calming support—always matched to your individual concerns rather than a fixed protocol. It’s a slower, smarter way to work, and it’s the reason my clients’ results tend to hold.
